Back pressure relief valves ZM-B inline & LPS angle valve
Functionality:
Back pressure valves regulate the pressure upstream of the valve.
The ZM-B back pressure relief valve is used to maintain and limit pressure.
The back pressure valve type ZM-B is a diaphragm-controlled, spring-loaded and automatic proportional regulator.
All parts in contact with the product are made of stainless steel 1.4571 / 1.4404 or Hastelloy C. The valve cone is soft-sealing with a valve seal made of perfluoroelastomer (Kalrez / Chemraz / J-6000) or fluoroelastomer (Viton). The tightness of the valve shut-off corresponds at least to VDI / VDE guideline 2174 or DIN EN 1349.
When the pipeline is depressurized, the adjusting spring keeps the valve cone closed. Increasing pre-pressure acts on the diaphragm-spring system. On the diaphragm made of PTFE or Viton, the pre-pressure to be regulated is in equilibrium with the force of the adjusting spring (setpoint). If the inlet pressure rises above the setpoint set on the adjusting screw, the system begins to open. If the pre-pressure drops, the valve is closed and the downstream pressure is maintained. The control accuracy can be increased by an external control line (/ C).
The back pressure relief valve ZM-B is also vacuum-tight.
Product variants:
ZM-B inline & LPS angle valves are suitable for gases
in the overpressure range from 5 to 500 mbar.
ZM-B / N inline & LPS / N angle valves are suitable for gases
in the negative pressure range from approx. - 5 to - 220 mbar
Product option:
ZM-B / D inline contains a connection for an external pneumatic control signal on the top of the diaphragm housing. This means that it is possible to vary the pressure setpoint preset by the spring (dome pressure max. 2 bar; IP 68).
